Hilleberg Bivanorak - A multi-use piece of equipment if there ever was one! The Bivanorak works as a long hem rain poncho / rain jacket, and on the other hand as a bivy bag. When needed, the hem can be rolled to waist-height. Cinch cords at the end and at sleeves help you keep the weather at bay when using as a bivy bag. The hood has been designed to work on top of a sleeping bag hood. A normal size sleeping pad can be fitted inside without problems. The Bivanorak was originally made for the Swedish Air Force, as a part of their survival pack. Nowadays outdoor enthusiasts also get to enjoy its practicality! Backpacker magazine from the United States chose the Hilleberg Bivanorak as the bivy of the year in 2003.
